Nobody panic, but at this point it doesn’t seem likely that ‘The Cat’ will be competing in the PGA Championship next month.

What a number for the week after the Masters. The Designated Events continue to deliver. Great news for the PGA Tour and for golf as a whole. Can’t remember the game having this much momentum with Tiger not really being a factor.

RBC Heritage Recap

Matty Ice wins it in a playoff with just "another 9 iron”.

Not like this Jordan, not like this. In a thrilling rendition of the RBC Heritage, Matthew “Ice Cold” Fitzpatrick took down Jordan Spieth in an instant classic. It took several playoff holes to decide a champion in this contest, and Fitz finally closed Spieth with the greatest shot in the history of the tournament (Jim Nantz’s words, not ours). We also saw the debut of Jon Rahm as the color commentator this Sunday! In a word, he was delightful in the booth. Rahm provided an insightful analysis of shots, cheeky remarks, and a bit of humor. The Spaniard’s stock cannot stop rising.

Weekend Forecast

Teeing off at the Only Two-Man Event on the PGA Tour in the Zurich district of New Orleans. Get your gumbo ready! 🦐

You can always count on us to be in favor of more team golf, at least as long as Greg Norman isn’t the one in charge. After two extremely stressful weekends at The Masters and The RBC Heritage, we’re looking forward to some levity coming out of the bayou this weekend. Morikawa and Homa are our early favorites heading into Thursday. Go Bears.
