Butterfield Bermuda Championship

Nov 9-12 | Sea Island Golf Club | St. Simons Island, GA

Port Royal is a coastal course on the island of Bermuda and typically has only one defense against the best players in the world, the wind. As of now the forecast is shaping up to be relatively calm on Thursday and Friday with a bit more action and chance of storm on the weekend, and on Sunday in particular. The field is about what you would expect this time of year, with only 11 of the Top 100 players in the world playing out of the total 132 players in the field. Look for outstanding wedge play to be the key determining factor of who is able to compete and stay at the top of the leaderboard throughout the week.

• Erik van Rooyen played his best golf for his best friend and won the WWT Championship in a truly emotional fashion. He eagled the last hole to win the tournament outright and cap off just an awesome story in the golf world.
