PGA Tour

World Wide Technology Championship

Nov 2-5 | El Cardonal at Diamante | San Lucas, MX

This is going to be the the first Tiger Woods designed golf course to host a PGA Tour event. El Cardonal opened at Cabo San Lucas in 2014, the first course completed by Woods’ TGR Design firm. From what we’ve heard, we’ll be looking at wide fairways and a paradise for long drivers of the golf ball. It’s safe to expect some very low scores this weekend and a winning score likely south of -20. The field is relatively trim, but there’s a ton of firepower at the top of the odds sheet with Ludvig Aberg, the young Swede and recent Ryder Cup hero, listed as the tournament favorite at 9-1. Cam Young and Sahith Theegala are next up behind him, and hopefully we’ll see all three of them in the mix on the back nine on Sunday.
