Rory McIlrory Wins the Scottish Open

Incredible weekend of golf in Scotland. Robert Bob Macintyre played out of his mind and almost pulled off the heartwarming hometown victory. Unfortunately for him however, Rory McIlory, the neighboring North Irishman, finished Birdie-Birdie to steal the victory. His heat-seaking missile of a 2-iron on the 72nd hole will go down as the shot of the tournament, and in Rory’s words probably one of the best of his career. The conditions were tough and the elements were definitely a factor, so if you weren’t already excited enough for The Open Championship this coming weekend, The Scottish Open was the perfect appetizer to wet your beak.
