⛳ Taylor Made Moore putts than the field

Moore wins Valspar with clutch putting and "Roll Back" remains top headline this week

Golf Industry News

Golf Ball “Roll Back” still remains the hottest topic in golf this week.

The week following the announcement that the USGA and R&A have plans to roll back the golf ball for elite players, those elite players have taken the time to chime in on the topic. Who’s side are you on? Hit us up on Twitter with your thoughts at @banteegolf.

WGC-Dell Technology Match Play is underway to kick off your golf weekend early.

This is March. In a week that is sure to be filled with chaos, the WGC Dell Match Play is kicking off to provide us all with another bracket that we can watch go up in flames. All of the world’s best (and some DP World Tour players that no one has heard of) will be down in Austin to square off for the chance at WGC glory. There are rumors that the Match Play is coming off the calendar, and we certainly hope they aren’t true, because this is one of our favorite golf weeks of the year.

Dates: 3/22 - 3/26 | Total Purse: $20 million. | Winner’s share: $3.5 million.

Valspar Championship: Taylor Made Moore putts than the field and Schenk was busy with a different kind of breakfast ball Sunday morning.

Jordan Spieth lacked the magic to get it done at the Valspar last weekend, but we are eagerly awaiting his arrival at Augusta. Everything seems to be in place from a ball striking perspective, and if the putter gets hot in 3 weeks, we could witness a different kind of resurrection this Easter. Tommy Fleetwood came tantalizingly close to his first win on US soil, but Taylor Moore was able to put together a Sunday charge and steal the show. Overall, it was another win for the “non-designated” events, as Adam Schenk, and his wife, made several new fans. Kourtney Schenk is 8-months pregnant and Adam made sure to cook her a great breakfast before his Sunday round. Hopefully a debut win and a healthy new life are in their future soon.
