Solheim Cup
An epic weekend of golf in Spain came to a close as the European team refused to quit, resulting in a 14-14 tie in the Solheim Cup. As the tradition goes, a tie in the Solheim or Ryder Cup does not get played out in a playoff, and instead the tie goes to the defending champion. In this case that was Europe, so Nelly Korda and the rest of the US team will have to wait until 2025 for a chance to reclaim the cup.
