Tom and Andrew chat through this week in golf and the NFL playoffs, including their picks for The American Express at La Quinta Country Club. On the back half, Billy and Andrew sit down with a very good friend of the program, Lulu Altmann, to hear her story about growing up in Brazil and making it on to the Ladies European Tour as a professional golfer.

Jan 18 - Jan 21 | La Quinta Country Club | La Quinta, CA

The American Express open, teeing off this morning, promises an exciting weekend with a field of 156 players battling it out across three diverse golf courses for a $8.4 million purse. This event also combines a pro-am field, where a handful of amateur golfers join the fray, and an expectation of incredibly low scores, typically around 25 under par. The tournament's format includes rounds across the PGA West Stadium Course, PGA West Nicklaus Tournament Course, and La Quinta Country Club, with the final round returning to the challenging Stadium Course designed by Pete Dye. Known for its shorter length but high-risk, high-reward play, these courses set the stage for a weekend of aggressive golf, where longshots have historically contended. With conditions ripe for low scores and a field that includes 22 of the top 50 in the OWGR, the American Express open is set to deliver an awesome weekend of golf in Palm Springs.
