The Notorious Scottie Scheffler is back in the field between court appearances this week as the most bizarre felony case of the century continues and provides us with more drama than we typically expect from professional golfers. On the course, he’s currently 7 shots off the lead at Colonial Country Club with Davis Riley sitting in 1st at -10 through 36 holes.
Incredibly, the sportsbooks still have Scottie as the favorite to win on Sunday, currently hovering around +500. It’s also awesome to see the local star Pierceson Coody playing well, currently -8 and T2, and we’ll hopefully get to see a lot more of his golf over the weekend.

These odds are something. Davis Riley and Scheffler are currently co favorites to win the Charles Schwab. Davis Riley has a SEVEN shot lead with 36 holes to go. I think that is what people in the business call a lack of respect
